Beach Bunny’s Lili Trifilio | Isaac Turner

Beach Bunny began as a bedroom-based solo project in 2015 when Lili Trifilio recorded a song titled “6 Weeks”. On October 31, 2019, the band announced that they had signed to Mom + Pop Music and released their first full-length album, Honeymoon, on February 14, 2020. Honeymoon was met with widespread critical acclaim, appearing on the Best Albums of 2020 lists in both The New York Times, and Rolling Stone. In November 2020, the band released a new single titled “Good Girls (Don’t Get Used).  Their fifth EP, Blame Game, was released in 2021.

Isaac “Ike” Turner was born and raised in Wishek, ND by public school teachers and lovers of music, books, film, and baseball. “Not a bad place to grow up in the 1970’s and 80’s”, he says. He credits the compulsory music program at Wishek Public School, in particular Miss Mormon, “Who let me run roughshod on the drums” for fostering his interest in music.

Bruce Blackman ‘Moonlight Feels Right’

Starbuck toured for several years and played with many of the major acts of the era:  ELO,  Hall & Oates,  K.C. and the Sunshine Band,  Boston,  Seals and Crofts and many others.   Starbuck performed on American Bandstand,   Midnight Special,   Don Kershner’s In Concert,   Merv Griffin,   Mike Douglas,   Dinah Shore,  and   Peter Marshall.

Julia Kent

There’s a subtlety and sparseness to the way Kent marries synthesizers and strings on this record. Kent proves she can elegantly render the quieter, intimate moments just as well as the big, powerful ones. – Bandcamp
