Dakota Spotlight: Call Me Shelly

True Crime Documentary Film

Call Me Shelly is a new documentary film from filmmakers James Wolner and Derek Fletcher, the team behind the Emmy Award-winning film The House on Sweet and Seventh. The film is inspired by Dakota Spotlight Season 7, Call Me Shelly: The Mysterious Disappearance of Michele Julson.

In 1994, Michele Julson disappeared from Bismarck, North Dakota after telling friends and family she was going to pick up her paycheck. She was never seen again. Decades later, the case still lingers with unanswered questions and a search for what really happened to Shelly.
